So i had a chance to go to Singapore for the weekend to witness the one and only James Blake who was headlining St.Jerome's Laneway Festival.
I also checked out XXYYXX and he was killing it even though he did have a minor issue with the set up.
Daughter was heart touching and brought out the melancholia from the huge crowd, which was a good thing before Chrvches came out and gave us hope to live again.
James Blake was phenomenon and beyond words, if you have a chance to see him live. Please do.
I shot the whole trip with my bessa therefore I have to do the grandpa thing i.e. develop the film and what not before I can put them up here.
Hopefully the photos will turn out ok, I used an Ilford delta pan 100 on my first night there and was being a little creepy hiding in alley ways to capture the innocent victims on the street while they were walking home, drunk. Apparently Singaporean police had a tougher penalty for chewing a bubble gum than for those being creepy and taking photos of strangers while they were not acknowledged of your presence.
The second day I used lomo B&W 400 for pretty much while the sun is up and switched to the colour 800 one at night. I think i went through the whole roll shooting purely Mr.Blake's set.
Anyhow here are some of the photos I took with my x100s on the way to the airport prior to flying to Singapore.
